About Mummy Minute

Hi,

My name is Rachel and I’m a mum to four kids under the age of 12.
I am a teacher by profession, a mum by trade, and an occasional writer when I find moments to sneak away to my computer uninterrupted by the pitter patter of tiny feet and the chaos of sibling conflict.
Having survived pregnancy complications that nearly killed me, struggling with PTSD and anxiety after long hospital stays and finally bringing home a miracle baby born way too soon who has triumphantly defied all odds to be here and on top of that be awesome, I am a passionate advocate for improving women and newborn health.
Behind every warrior woman is a girl who had no choice.
Sharing our stories is a way of healing and a roadmap for others. Finding silver linings and laughing (and crying) along the way as I found my way back to health and back to me I’ve created this space to share parts of our journey to hopefully inspire you to find your strength and power as you go about you own mummying journey.
